Daren has 18 years of professional horse training experience, using the Stoeckel Horse Training Foundation Training Method. He has trained hundreds of horses ranging from an untouched mustang to a seasoned, money-winning reiner. He is a certified police officer and works full time as a Ranger for the Hamilton County Park District. He has been a mounted patrol officer since 1999 and is the instructor for the Park District’s Mounted Patrol and is therefore in charge of training the horses, the officers, and the staff.
Jen has over 30 years of riding experience and has been training and teaching riding lessons since she was 16. She has experience riding, teaching, training, and showing in many disciplines and levels, including hunt seat, dressage, jumping, western pleasure, barrel racing, and equitation. She has been a 4-H horse advisor and hippology coach, as well as a barn/stable manager and horse show secretary. She has been training and teaching with the Stoeckel Horse Training Foundation Training Method for about 6 years now. In her spare time she works part time as a procedure scheduler for a large cardiology practice in Cincinnati. She has recently become certified as a CESMT (Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist) in order to supplement her training and lessons.
Noah Bryce Stoeckel joined the family in January, 2007. He surprised his mom & dad very much by demanding to be let out 2 months early. He had a rough start but is now thriving and thrilled to be active and mobile! He loves to ride & screams when he is taken off the horse. And just in case you were wondering, we didn’t clone Daren. But Noah loves his Daddy! |
